Design for Change

Design for Change is a digital platform created for a Visual Communication course, bringing together 30+ projects, 90 students, and 20 local businesses in one shared experience.

The platform was designed to organize and showcase the course’s work while connecting students, local businesses, and the communities behind each project.

My Role: Team Lead, UX/UI Designer & Web Development

Managing the Complexity

30+ Projects. 90 Students. 20 Businesses.
Bringing such a large amount of content into one platform required organizing project materials, coordinating information from multiple participants, and continuously adapting as new content was added.

The challenge was turning a constantly growing collection of projects, people, and businesses into one clear and structured digital experience.

Working as a Team

As team lead, my role was to keep the project moving forward, coordinate between team members, and make sure we stayed aligned throughout the process.

Alongside my own responsibilities, I supported the team where needed, particularly with design and content collection, while taking an active part in the weekly client meetings and feedback process.

Designing for the Content

We explored multiple layouts and screen concepts to find a system that could present a large amount of information without competing with the projects themselves.

The goal was to create a flexible visual framework in Figma that could adapt to different types of content while giving each project space to maintain its own identity.

From Design to Development

I independently built the final website in code, translating our Figma design into a fully responsive experience, including animations, transitions, interactions, and mobile behavior.

The final website stays true to the original design while bringing it to life through motion and interaction.
